Feature Description
Basics
Active/Passive
Passive Units hold their data until they return to the office.
Active Units transmit their data to the web server, live 24/7
Requires Client-side Software
Passive Units require software on the client side for storing data temporarily and then uploading to the webserver.
Requires Client-side Hardware
(other than vehicle units)
Passive Units require a bluetooth base station for downloading data from the units.
Reporting
Vehicle History
This is the standard report which shows detailed information about all of a vehicle’s stops.
Event History
This report is for any custom events that you have hard-wired for your vehicle. Reported info includes the name of the event, the date/time and locations of where the event was turned on and off, and the total time the event was turned on. This is great for companies like pest control & yard spraying, oil delivery trucks or street sweepers, to show that a device was turned on and off, when and where.
Location
Run a report on one of your saved locations to see how often vehicles in your fleet stop there.
Summary
Daily statistics including Max Speed, Total Miles, Total Hours
Timecard
Similar to Summary, with additional fields for hand-written adjustments
Exceptions
This report is similar to Vehicle History with the added ability to filter the report based on Miles Driven, Stop Length, Max Speed, or Idle Time.
Speed Violations
This is a filtered view of the Vehicle History that only shows speed violations
Travel Log
This report shows location, time, and speed for the different components of a trip: Start, Breadcrumb, Stop. This is the only report that includes breadcrumbs.
Mapping
Fleet
Although this view is available for passive units, they will not benefit because their location will always be at the office, where their data is downloaded, as they are not live.
For Active Fleets, view where each of your vehicles are and if they are stopped or in a trip.
Vehicle
Lookup a vehicle’s location on the map and read details about its current trip or arrival.
Address Lookup
Type in an address to find on the map.
Saved Location Lookup
Select one of your saved locations to find on the map.
Routing
Select any vehicle, breadcrumb, or location that is on the current map view and create routing directions to or from that location.
Daily Stops
Select a vehicle and a day to view that vehicle’s stops on the map. You can also enable viewing of breadcrumbs.
Find Closest Vehicles
Select any vehicle, breadcrumb, or location that is on the current map view and select the number of close vehicles to that location you wish to find.
Alerts
Live, Instant Alerts
Due to the nature of Passive vs. Active systems, only alerts for Active units will be live. Passive units don’t report their data until they return to base so only at that time will their alerts be generated
Power Up
Notification whenever a vehicle experiences a power cycle.
Speed Violation
Notification whenever a vehicle sends a speeding event
Out of Area
Notification whenever a vehicle travels outside a specified area.
In Area
Notification whenever a vehicle travels into a specified area.
Off Hours Usage
